How to Use an Anal or Vaginal Speculum

- Open the blades only after the speculum is fully inserted. Open blades slowly; once you achieve the spread you want to see, lock the blades in position.
- Close blades before removal. Vaginal speculums should be closed fully; anal speculums can be pulled out with the blades open a fraction to avoid pinching.
- Wash your speculum after use with antibacterial soap in warm water; let air dry before storing.

Or perhaps you want to tie your lover up in a quick and effective manner to quell their struggle. You may like to stand back and tease your helpless mate. Maybe you lust to feel the rope against your skin as your partner pulls and pushes you off balance as they tighten their control, while always keeping you safe. You may have visions of using rope to secure optimal positions for intercourse and penetration. These desires are valid and you can achieve them. Let’s start by finding the right rope for you and get you started.
TYPES OF ROPE
Hemp: The highest quality natural fiber rope available, but a little rougher sensation on the skin than other ropes. (Some people like it like that!) Traditionally used on sailing ships, this attests to hemps wear-ability and how well it will hold a knot. Not to mention it has an awesome natural scent that many people find very sexy. It is a bit more expensive because the fiber used to construct hemp rope must be imported and fair trade. Hand wash with gentle detergent and hang to dry.
Cotton: Traditionally associated with Japanese rope bondage. Soft to the touch and will not rub or chafe the skin. Holds your knots tightly, this can make it hard to undo a very tight knot. It will stretch a bit with use and has no scent. It has a shorter life span when compared to other ropes. To clean cotton rope, slip it in a lingerie bag to keep it from getting tangled and machine wash with like colors. Use cold water and air dry to avoid shrinking.
Nylon: Sensual as it moves over bare skin. It is durable, easy to clean and maintain. Nylon rope has no smell. It will stretch with repeated use, up to 20% in length. It will not hold a knot as tight as other options listed here. To clean nylon rope, slip it in a lingerie bag to keep it from getting tangled and machine wash with like colors. STORAGE
Keep your rope organized so you are ready for spontaneous play! Wind it up neatly and tuck it away where it will stay dry.
SAFETY
One of the reasons people become so fixated on rope bondage is because there is always more to learn. But always start with learning how to keep a bound partner safe.
Here are a few basic tips:
- Keep a set of Safety Scissors on hand for quick release. (If not an emergency, untying someone can be as sensual as tying them up!)
- Don’t tie too tight. You should be able to slip two fingers in between the rope and skin.
- Check in periodically to ensure the bound partner is comfortable. Ensure that parts of their body are not falling asleep, tingly or experiencing numbness. Have them wiggle their fingers and toes for you.
- If you are bound, tell your partner about any medical issues or old injuries you may have. Communicate issues along the way so your partner can assist.
- Never bind a person’s neck. Be very cautious about joints and circulations points.
- Never leave a bound partner alone.
- Don’t let someone you don’t know tie you up.

This easy rope bondage tutorial will allow you to attach wrists or ankles to each other as well as any piece of furniture your heart desires:

Step 1:
Place both arms or legs parallel to each other but not touching. Fold your rope in half, take the U-shaped end (called the ‘bight’) and wrap it twice around your partner’s wrists or ankles. |

Step 2:
After the second wrap, cross the bight over the top of the wraps. |

Step 3:
Continue crossing the bight around the bottom of the wraps and back up to the bight. |
 |
Step 4:
Leave enough of the bight to tie a square knot with the remaining rope. |

Step 5:
The final result looks like this. |

Use the remaining rope and bight to tie your partner’s bound hands or feet to the bed, or leave them free to explore different positions in bondage. |

Just like opinions, everyone has an asshole…which means that ass play should be universally enjoyable for anybody, so long as they learn how to do it comfortably and safely.
Butt plugs can be a great way to prepare for anal sex. They’re fun to wear during intercourse for both partners, and equally fun to wear masturbating alone. (Or for someone else.) They’re also a compelling means of teasing your partner, or keeping their attention engaged during roleplay.
 The Anal Trainer Kit is great for beginners & anal pros. Whether you’re new to using a butt plug or just want to increase your comfort and wear time with anal sex toys, these simple steps can help you have as much fun as possible:
1. Buy the right kind of lube.
Avoid wear and tear on tender tissues by using a thicker or longer-lasting personal lubricant. Silicone has good staying power and is condom-safe; cream lubes has an excellent texture, too, but make sure it isn’t oil based, or it will degrade latex condoms. 2. Choosing the right butt plug:

3. Clean up before you play:
Preparation makes anal sex or using a butt plug will make you less self-conscious and everything more sanitary. Wash yourself out in the shower with a douche set like the StreemMaster or Shur Shot, or use a more conveniently sized bulb style anal douche. Make sure to lubricate the nozzle before you use it, and wash your douche set thoroughly after each use with antibacterial soap and warm water.
4. Make sure to relax:
When you’re first putting in a butt plug or other anal toy, being relaxed enough can be just as important to your comfort as using the right lube. One simple way to relax your muscles sufficiently is to take a deep breath when your toy is poised in place; then push the butt plug in slowly as you breathe outward. If you need to, stop to inhale; then start pushing again as you exhale a second time. If you feel pain or cramping, slow down! If the pain doesn’t ease immediately, it can help to remove the toy entirely; take another deep breath; then reinsert the plug as you breathe out again.
5. Hygiene and cleaning:
Always wash anal toys thoroughly with antibacterial soap and warm water when you’re through playing, and let them air dry completely before storing. To prevent infection, never share unsanitized toys between partners, or move a toy from the ass to the vagina.
