Stockroom.com is the internet’s oldest source for sex toys, bondage gear, and adult products. Our company was founded by Joel Tucker (JT) in 1988, when he was a 21-year-old kinky college student on a budget. A trip to a local adult toy store in search of affordable and functional bondage restraints revealed the unmet need for quality BDSM gear at a fair price. Joel took up leatherwork, designing many of the basic leather wrist cuffs, ankle cuffs, harnesses, etc that are still among the best-selling items in our catalog today. In 1989, Joel began experimenting with internet marketing (then an underground concept) using his college email address. In 1990, his first text-based electronic catalog was circulated, and the internet has been our primary market ever since.
Today Stockroom.com – together with all our brands, including Syren Latex, Stormy Leather, KinkLab, and Daedalus Publishing – is the largest manufacturer and retailer of its kind in the world, employing 50+ people in Los Angeles. Our offerings have expanded to include more than 4000 items, many of which are handmade in our 30,000 square foot Los Angeles workshop. Though we carry a full range of quality mainstream sex toys from vibrators to butt plugs to strap-on dildo harnesses, we continue to specialize in premium bondage gear and leather and latex fetish clothing, and are proud to continue our company’s long history of innovation with new sex toy and restraint designs (many of which are patented, such as our Jawbreaker Ball Gag, Neon Wand, Bolero Straitjacket and AVN Award Winning Ballz Gag). We also support the communities who support us through our online forums, educational events, charitable contributions, community websites, and publishing efforts.
