Summer Reading Fun or “Where To Go After 50 Shades Of Grey”

There is an infamous quote by John Waters that we love terribly.

“We need to make books cool again. If you go home with somebody and they don’t have books, don’t fuck them.” — John Waters

That sentiment definitely rings true for us. Reading is sexy. And there’s plenty of sexy things to read about.

We’re all aware of the trend that’s recently swept the nation, 50 Shades of Grey. Whether you love it or hate it, you have to admit that it’s turned a lot of vanilla people to investigating the sexier side of books; We’re talking about something with a little more meat than some random romance novel baring a cover with a shirtless Fabio riding a unicorn through a forest, hair seductively blowing in the wind. Not dissing unicorns though, just to make that clear.

No dude, it's cool.

So whether you’re someone who’s only recently started investigating, or you’re someone who’s been in the scene for a while, there’s plenty of awesome literature for you.

If you’re looking for more S&M themed erotica, why not start with one of de Sade’s classics, like Justine or the 120 Days of Sodom? Let Violet Blue or Midori be your tour guide on a journey of sensual sociology. There’s pages and pages of options for you to lose yourself in with your imagination. No unicorns for now though. Although we’re working on it. And accepting submissions.
